Purpose:
There’s lots of reasons for investing in a new staircase. The primary reason however is for storage purposes. Typically the space under the stairs is wasted, so converting into a coat store, cupboards, a shoe rack, or even wine storage is a really good way to hide things away.
Sizes:
Nothing is standard about a staircase (or it’s design). So we really can build to any required specification. Whether it’s a double staircase for a large manor or a spiral staircase for a loft conversion, we can help.
Materials:
Typically stairs in the UK are made from 1 of 3 timbers: American white oak, Redwood Pine and MDF. We tend to suggest American white oak for its sturdy and long lasting nature. We can however work with any wood material that you’d like and would love to discuss the options with you.
Planning permission?
